I do not own QDEL but am interested, and find the comments on this thread more than usually informative. A few comments. -The current quarter will reflect the effect of giving out the free kits - about .01 per share impact it appears. -Familiarity, the lab issue, or whatever may cause acceptance to be slower than investors are hoping for. Logic isn't always the primary motive inspiring people. -If the next quarter is not materially better than last year, the stock will likely be dead money for a while from this level, unless there is some positive surprise news. -Therefore, in a very mixed smallcap market, it seems prudent to wait and perhaps pay a bit more when the timing of progress is somewhat clearer. Comments?
