ray, while in general i'm pretty open to conspiracy theories, yours just isn't compelling to me. intel's earnings have grown as much as the stock price has grown (roughly). the increased stock price isn't just hype. in fact, as is repeated gazillions of times on this thread, "intel is trading at a discount to the industry." are you saying that the analysts had something to do with the earnings reports as well?
