Channel Info, etc. New to the thread. Probably violating some sort of etiquette by posting. Called two Denver area Office Depots today. Neither of them carried Syquest products. They only carry the parallel port zip which I was told was selling "extremely well". Salesperson at one store said that they are selling a large amount of disks every day. They also carry jaz which they say is selling very well. The salesperson who told me about the disk sales also mentioned that they now carry several PC models with internal zips.

CompUSA had everything from Iomega and Syquest. Said they sell mostly zips and other Iomega products. He was obviously busy, so I didn't get any additional details.

Two of the four Best Buy's in the area were out of zips. Expecting more this evening. All said they were selling lots of them. Carry both Parallel and SCSI. Also carry jaz. Said they didn't have any Syjets.

Asked all about the LS-120. Not one person had ever heard of it.

Called Iomega to check on the status of my zip rebate. I have been waiting since October! They still have not even processed my paperwork. She (Sr. Associate) said that they are absolutly swamped. They have more than quadrupled their staff, but still can't keep up with all the rebates. Said they have hundreds and hundreds of thousands of rebates to work through. Asked me to call back in a couple of weeks. Not sure what to make of this.
