Maybe why AAPL opened QT to IBM for use in their servers

IBM customer Sony , who S Jobs adires , keynoted the NAB with a call to accept digital media in communications :

" ... digital media and new technologies are rapidly changing the face of broadcasting and communications--is on the minds of the
roughly 100,000 industry members at this year's conference.

Stringer followed his point with a call to arms, warning that
broadcasters had better "stop crying into your Chardonnay
about lost share" and get moving into developing partnerships,
standards, and content for high-definition television and other
emerging technologies. "

IBM announced a PowerPC board last week which may be a hardware element that could interact with QT , or better yet it would permit a AAPL server to be interfaced with IBM's AIX OS.

Hopefully an AIX interface for AAPL Server OS X is part of the QT deal .

Music videos ? QT maybe with sound (R Deen's post) ?
