<<Dell whacked worse than Compaq, I just dont understand at all.>>

I understand your frustration.....yet, CPQ is at about an 18 month LOW....that's one reason EP and the CFO are moving on....We all know how much headway DELL has made in the last year and a half. DELL will outperform CPQ in a major way going forward -- IMO CPQ stock is dead money for months to come...why would ANY Fund want to own a stock with their business model and credibility???....

I am still 100% invested in the market but I lost A LOT on paper today...I knew my 100+% gain in the last 2 months (with internet stock trading) was too good to be true ...last week I finished deploying all the money -- bought more AWRE, MSGI, etc.....oh well, I have the online IRA full of carefully selected internut stocks that I really believe in -- I will hold for the LONG TERM.

Lets hope that DELL has bottomed out here near its 200 MDA and we can keep all of our extra shares on margin....I can handle a few more days like today BUT it is still painful....If the sell-off is persistent then I would have to make tough choices.....I remain cautiously optimistic....These large traders are now are ignoring fundamentals and are just selling across the board in the tech sector.

IMHO, the IRRATIONAL fear will die down soon.

Best Regards,

Scott
