| [Able Telcom Holding Corp. Announces MFSNT Completes Delaware E-ZPass Facility]
MT. LAUREL, N.J., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- MFS Network Technologies (MFSNT), a subsidiary of Able Telcom Holding Corp., today announced that an E-ZPass milestone was achieved earlier this month on SR-1 in Dover, Delaware, with the installation and integration of the electronic toll collection system on twelve lanes at the Dover barrier toll plaza, four lanes at the Denney's Road toll facility and six lanes at the Smyma toll facility.

This most recent Delaware SR-1 milestone is part of the ongoing E-ZPass project, an automated toll system project being implemented by the Regional Consortium, comprised of the Delaware Department of Transportation, Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, Atlantic City Expressway and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

E-ZPass enables motorists to drive through a toll facility without stopping to pay the toll. The tolls are automatically deducted through a transponder, an electronic device that is attached to the vehicle's windshield. This project is part of the Regional Consortium of Electronic Toll Collection program, which MFSNT began on March 11, 1998.

In addition to upgrading the electronic toll collection system and implementing E-ZPass, MFSNT also incorporated a discount plan on SR-1 that will eventually phase out the existing ticket-based discount, using the E-ZPass technology to mark entry and exit points for patrons utilizing SR-1.

The Delaware Department of Transportation held an opening on April 8, 1999 to mark the event. Those present included Delaware Lt. Governor Ruth Ann Minner and Delaware Secretary of Transportation, Anne Camby. Jason Vallance, Project Manager for MFSNT, was pleased with the deployment and the coordination from the Delaware Department of Transportation. "Without their cooperation and support, the E-ZPass implementation would still be on the drawing boards," said Mr. Vallance.
