As always, it's the forward looking comments that'll matter the most. With that in mind, Patrick's +ve, -ve chart needs to be considered. INTC's forward-look for example was not +ve and so it went down. LSI always manages expectations by the end of the quarter so that there's very little earnings surprise, very little not matching expectations. It's the moment that they establish expectations for the next quarter that the stock either gets a boost or tanks.
