RE: Amazon's brand name is worth something - maybe 1% in net profit. They may see net profit of 3% during the best of times with 0.5%-1.5% being the norm. My question to you is what if your assumptions are wrong? What if net profits are 10 times what you are forecasting? Does this change your perspective?
