For example Fidelity holds its notes is a special strategic fund which I suspect they bought on
weakness (maybe $28 - 32 in Oct 98 ?)

A conversion by sale now locks in a good return for that fund and a Fidelity sister fund could be a
buyer at $34 (a cross) looking for a July profit ?

I guess that's possible if traffic in the convertible bonds directly influenced the stock price. Does it?

Some of the things your insurance intellect comes up with go completely over my head. Are you doing that on purpose just to confuse me? :-)
