Taking profits was not such a bad idea was it! Ploughing a little bit into cybersurf at the time I recommended it was not such a bad idea either was it. Next recommendation: Get out of the stock market completely by next week. The word of ground troops and friction with the Russians will send this market into trouble. If I were to stay in the markets: best to have physical resource stocks such as diamonds, gold timber and oil and gas. Corporate paper with no earnings will be very scary heading into the year 2000. Internet backbone stocks will continue to do well.. Internet content stocks may get a sh_t kicking as people realize there is no monopoly on the Internet and the barriers to entry are very low.
