The way I figure it, SUF had a South African tax problem as all profits produced within the country from diamond sales are subject to local taxes. By purchasing this company with its inherent tax losses SUF should be able to write the whole thing off against future diamond sales profits thereby creating much more leverage for cash flow generated from operations. This will be like an interest free loan for $29 million.
