I agree with much of what you said about this thread. We should be focusing more on "Trading for a Living" and not "Why Trading for a Living is an Impossible Dream".

The reality is that successful daytrading is very difficult for many reasons, but huge profits are feasible for those traders who learn methods to successfully navigate the marketplace. I believe each successful daytrader has developed their own ideas and strategies that are profitable and give them an 'edge' in the market.

Without getting into the details of your personal trading strategies, perhaps you could share with the thread some of your experiences that have helped to make you a better trader. Maybe that will help stimulate ideas that others could contribute to make this a more positive and informative thread. I look forward to any contributions you choose to add and hope you will rebookmark this thread!
