At that time we were confronted with the global melt down. This time its contained with our markets and seems to be driven by sector rotation and the other stimuli that we know about...over valuations, slowing revenue and profit growth, y2k fears, etc., etc. I think this is going to continue for some time. You known, its hard to move billions and billions of dollars around. <ggg> Serious business...lots of profits going up in smoke, or down the rat hole...it depends on one's point of view. Stock Bull PS: I don't think good earnings reports from Msft or Emc will help this time around.
