Dave, you are right, they have at least 4 quarters of cash to burn at the present bleeding rate, and thus, if they act fast, they can survive. My problem, of course is that what we saw in this report is the first salvo, and the next quarter might be worse, but I have no way to know. I believe that we are not emerging yet from the "malaise" in the DRAM business, and thus the whole semi-cap segment has some additional suffering ahead. If that is a correct assessment (and it does go against accepted wisdom that the second half of 1997 will see an upsurge in the semiconductors), then PMAT losses could actually widen.
