can't talk about penton but in my career i've been a media stock analyst covering the range of stocks in that area also the traditional media companies doing it mostly right to me include nbc (ge)(snap, cnet, cnbc.com) disney (infoseek/go) i think time warner has some promise in cnn.com and road runner as an ipo north of $4 billion news corp is asleep at the wheel for the most part mass media is having trouble understanding targeted media (the web) i think the major media will have to acquire the larger sites out there in the top 20 (those that are left)
