The dow was up an amazing 270 some points and I think the masses were looking at eachother going, "man, this is crazy!" People began deciding that it was time for some heavy profit taking after the long tear that the dow was on, and before you know it, everyone's shoving eachother in an effort to exit as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, those who attempted to get in were trampled immediately.
