10 Mhz of SPectrum at 1.9 Ghz is what T has. Article is typical confusion of non-tekkie. More interesting is press release by AT&T stating they will connect their base station sites together using fiber. T already has 10,000 plus base stations at 800 MHz cellular. If they run fiber rings to all, that also gives them capacity to reach most commercial buildings along the way. Plus they already signed agreements to resell the fiber based transport of most CAPs. Does anybody actually know how many revenue generating "wireless fiber" link Winstar actually has in service? Their annual reports are mysteriously silent on this.
