I'm not sure where your information of the insiders "bailing out" came from. I checked the NASDAQ EDGAR database and found that the SC-13G forms filed this month indicate that 70% of the total shares in the company are still owned by the original venture capitalists. Also I believe the terms of the IPO involved some restrictions on how soon and how much the principal insiders could sell. My opinion is that the "bailing out" occurred among the mutual funds and speculators who jumped in on the IPO and they simply couldn't find any buyers given the short-term earnings prospects. The real insiders are still very strong on this company.

FWY: SpectraLink announced yesterday that they will buy back as much as 500,000 shares on the open market. Hopefully this will help shore up the price until the improvements they've made in sales, marketing, and products start showing up on the bottom line later this year.

These are only my opinions and are not intended to reflect any real or imaginary knowledge of anything going on anywhere whatsoever.
