ProNetLink.com Adds UPS Electronic Commerce Solutions to Its Global Trade Internetwork
NEW YORK, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- ProNetLink.com(R) (PNL) (OTC Bulletin Board: PNLK), the Global Trade Internetwork and Portal specializing in international electronic commerce, announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement to provide UPS Document Exchange(SM) services and UPS Internet Tools(TM) to its Customers.

"UPS is a key player in the global electronic commerce industry and critical to ProNetLink users," said David Walker, ProNetLink COO. "We parallel their vision for the future of electronic commerce and are very proud to be working with them."

UPS Document Exchange allows users to immediately ship critical business documents over the Internet, contained in a digital file, in any number of mediums including documents, images, video and software. UPS Document Exchange senders and recipients, with incompatible desktop applications, can still read each other's documents and password protection helps ensure that only intended recipients can open files. Other benefits include the ability to track and verify receipt of electronic deliveries, the ability to manage deliveries to a large number of people and encryption to help ensure information isn't disclosed to an unintended party.

"Analysts are predicting that up to 30 percent of all documents will be delivered electronically by the year 2000," said Dale Hayes, UPS vice president electronic commerce marketing. "With the addition of UPS Document Exchange to ProNetLink, their business-to-business users around the world can now take advantage of the speed and efficiency of sending documents that are encrypted and easily tracked over the Internet 24-hours a day."

ProNetLink users will also have access to UPS Internet Tools which enable package tracking worldwide and cost calculation of packages being shipped via UPS from the U.S. to worldwide destinations. ProNetLink and UPS plan to work together in the future toward the delivery of additional functionality for shipping via the Internet.

UPS will be a key participant in ProNetLink's cybercast of the International Business Expo live from the Javits Center in New York on April 21. This is a free global cybercast and viewers can tune in at pronetlink.com and e-mail questions for the show to live@pronetlink.com. The cybercast will also be archived on the ProNetLink site.
