All the following comments are the author's own opinion. They may be mis-informed and even downright stupid. Do not rely on message board information - always do your own due diligence.

Near term: A ruling by the judge to apply a multiplier to the jury award would have popped the stock, but the 30% royalty rate on all product sales was higher than I would have thought. GSI has hinted that Origin did about $60 million in sales of balloon type products, a figure that Origin put out in press releases. I do not believe that $60 million in sales will fall directly into GSI's pocket come mid November. I would be happy with half that number. The market is from Missouri until GSI gets a revenue run rate.

Longer term the injunction is of course a good thing. If I were GSI management I would work full time on getting the company to break even. I believe this is a very salient point. Building a sales force, as I have stated ad nauseum, is expensive and difficult and time consuming. Once the company is at break even it should be slightly easier to attract, retain and motivate reps. Expanding the overall market for balloon assited procedures will take a long time. Again if you are making some money you have the time to develop these initiatives.
