You sound just like me when I began except I never had the wisdom to learn or read anything before committing my money to a trade. I remember wondering why my first stock purchase just kept dropping and dropping when I had bought it at a price that was so much cheaper than a week or two before. Made no sense at all.

If you haven't done so, look at adding the Schwager Market Wizard books to your reading list.
