I have some skepticism re. a "direct" ROK-INTC alliance.

First of all, both are giants not in any danger of major threats. Secondly, the two companies have considerable overlapping business domains, thus a close alliance would not be the most strategically beneficial. (Not culturally either, as ROK is very pentagon-ish, decending from a military contractor's past.)

I do see a "troika" in the making, with INTC and MSFT in the center, with CSCO nudging closer. BAY/ASND could be a potential back-up, MADGE a filler here or there. The show now has an impromptu script everyday that requires a real village guru to narrate for us. (What about the "specifics" you promise two nights ago?)
