The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, April 20, edition that Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals and Britain's Cortecs Diagnotics have terminated their 1996 licencing agreement to develop and commercialize products to diagnose tuberculosis. The Globe's News Bulletins column reports that the move reflects a decision this year by Cortecs to streamline its operations, including termination of several scientific collaborations. The tuberculosis technology in the venture will be returned to Inflazyme, reports The Globe.
