You can make all the theories you want until you turn blue in the face but all I can say is this:

On Thursday at about 3:30pmEST Vivus preannounces BLOW AWAY earning of 12 cents (estimates 1 cent) and trading is immediately halted at 4 1/2. Friday morning stock gaps to 6 and here we are 3 trading days later trading as low as 4 1/16. A NORMAL stock would probably be forming a new base at 10 about now but don't forget this is Vivus. Fundamentals don't mean SQUAT nor do technicals. The stock goes where ever the market makers want to take it. Boo Hoo.
