TeraGLOBAL(TM) Appoints John F.A.V. Cecil to Board of Directors
TeraGLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS CORP. (TGCC)(NASD-BB:TGCC) announced today the appointment of F.A.V. (Jack) Cecil to its Board of Directors. Cecil has been the President of Biltmore Farms Inc. (a real estate development company) since 1992.
He is a director for First Union National Bank of North Carolina; Mission-St. Joseph's Health Systems Inc.; and The Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges. He is also the Vice-Chairman -- Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina, which is responsible for the general determination, control, supervision, management and governance of all affairs of the 16 constituent institutions.
Cecil holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.I.M., from the American Graduate School of International Management.
TeraGLOBAL(TM) Appoints James A. Mercer III to Vice President
James A. Mercer III has been added to the management team as vice president. From April 1994 through March 1999 Mercer was a partner of, and associated with, Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, San Diego, where he was TeraGlobal's corporate counsel. From December 1991 to April 1994 he was associated with O'Connor, Cavanaugh, Anderson, Westover, Killingsworth & Beshears.
Mercer received a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School in 1989. He received a Masters in business administration from California State University Fullerton in 1986. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from U.C.L.A. in 1983.
