Gary appears to be waxing poetic. He compares the various publicly traded electronic payment companies to the "Big 7" in the early days of the oil industry (Rockefeller, et al). "...and we are beginning to see signs today that the Internet needs a payment's infrastructure much like our post-Civil War economy needed an energy industry. Without it, the Internet's compelling content lays stagnate like an unfed tidal marsh cut off from the sea..." Think I'm gonna pop open a wine cooler and contemplate that from my rocking chair on the front porch... RK (BTW, Gary's more than entitled to his opinion (Princeton Telecom ROCKS, man!), but if this is how the new future on on-line investment banking is going to roll out to the common folk, I think I'm gonna mosey on over to Schwab and SHORT about a BILLION shares of e-trade...) --all in jest, of course...
