May calls are interesting play. It really depends on your strike. If your calls are deep in the money I would think about taking some profits in the next few days. If they are out of the money it is worth letting it ride for a bit.

I have traded options for a long time. My biggest mistake is when positions go in my favor and I don't sell. I feel like since I have lots of time left the chances of higher levels are good. My experiece has been different. Now, if I have a good profit in options I take it. Even if its the next day on a two month option. No screwing around - especially in these types of markets.
