The company has entered into final negotiations with an international
telecommunications operator to operate its networks in Africa.
The operator who has multimillion-dollar investments in over 24 countries
including Africa has been in discussions with the company since the
beginning of December 1998 to take part in the company's opportunities in
Zambia and Mozambique.
Due to the lack of a reliable nationwide telecommunications network these
countries have limited access to the Internet. The company will work with
the international operator to provide not only voice services to both
Zambia and Mozambique but more importantly access to the Internet, which
has shown tremendous growth in Africa over the past five years.
When the agreement is finalized, the company will be in a position to take
advantage of the communication sector in Africa especially data and
Internet communications.
