Jim, you have convinced me. On-line brokers are a trend.
Still, I think there are many better plays than JBOH. They have everything I look for in a short candidate. As Auric points out, I am no Player, just a small-timer.
So, my quest now is to find the big, name brand on-line brokers that will become the gorillas that take the bannanas from these little monkey brokers.
So far I'm favoring Morgan Stanley Dean Witter (mwd), DLJ, and Knight - in order of speculative rank.
Does anyone have any ideas for blue-chip brokers with on-line potential? DLJ is looking very interesting, so far, but I'm not done researching.
