Bert,

I don't want to burst your bubble of hope regarding the profit outlook at MVIS, but do not expect any profits next year. As the company gets closer to producing a commercial or military product in volume, its cost will again rise dramatically. This is entirely expected for a company such as MVIS. Profitability could be possible only if the company fails to continue cultivating new products and markets beyond the ones they are initially concerned with. Success opens the doors to bigger and bigger markets which cost even more to develop and crack open than the military. As long as revenues continue to increase at present levels, profitability will not be an issue as trying to keep up with demand will attract the market's attention as well as a premium stock valuation. Once the initial revenue surge subsides and growth rate slows, it is then that shareholders must be shown good margins and profits.
