The America quoted company with ticker FAST is a totally different company than the Norwegian FAST Search and Transfer fast.no

However I still successfully use the old link
base.nettvik.no

FAST (Search and Transfer) have reached the sky during the last months. Opticom with their large ownership in FAST have followed to new all time high (500% up since the autumn). Still "the real Opticom", is valued to only a fraction of their total market cap, which mainly contains the ownership in Fast.

Their is a lot of rumors around as usual. Nokia, Intel... We better wait and see.

Fast is talking about an introduction on NASDAQ this year. Their biggest competitor, Inktomi Corporation [INKT] is quoted on NASDAQ and valued to around eight times the value of Fast.
None of the companies values make sense in my opinion, but... Fast will probably make a (rather big compared to internet companies) profit this year, so it may (still) be a huge potential in this stock, if it will be compared with US internet companies.

Opticoms result for 1998 can be found on their homepage opticomasa.com
