VERAMARK RECEIVES ORDER FROM AMERICAN SOMOA PITTSFORD, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999--Veramark Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market:VERA) today announced receipt of an order from a business partner for the VeraBill billing and customer care system. The VeraBill system will be used by American Somoa Telecom LLP, a new GSM operator on the island of American Somoa. VeraBill is a comprehensive billing and customer care system for wireline, wireless and other network service providers with up to 400,000 access lines. David G. Mazzella, Veramark's President and CEO, commenting on the announcement said, "This will be the 25th installation of a VeraBill billing and customer care system worldwide. The selection of a billing and customer care system is one of the most important decisions made in the start of a new wireless carrier. We are very pleased with the performance of VeraBill in installations around the world and its growing acceptance among carriers."
