Sorry for this very late respond. I don't have any ownerships-figures around, but is it true, as you write, that Eidos have a 15% share in Opticom (I really don't remember how much they own...) The value is today around 43 MUSD, compared with around 8 MUSD in November-98.

Also to be remembered is that Eidos and Opticom have joint a venture together (Eidopt, 50/50 owned), they are suppose to develop some kind of a new game cartridge. Read Only, and much cheaper and with more memory than todays technology. This is supposed to be ready in one or two years I believe. I think Eidos is putting in something around 10 MUSD in the first step of this project, so I guess that they believe in it :-)
