Oops. didn't post anything...here goes: I would like to hear input on any companies that are possible take over targets. Just to get the ball rolling. I heard recently (and their have been ongoing rumors for the past 3 months) that Incyte Pharm. (IPI) a biotech firm that compiles and produces genetic databases for large biotech firms will be bought out in the next 2 months. It is currently trading at 18 3/4 (hi: 25). The price is said to be around $30-34/share for the buy-out. Has anyone heard anything about this? I heard Johnson&Johnson is a likely buyer. Takeover rumors of Cordis was floating in the company for months before it happened...when it did, the stock rose from the mid 70s to over 100. -JW
