Jim,
Let's face it EP and EM were good for a certain period of time in Compaq's development. The Company has changed into something bigger and more complex. They ran out of gas, and didn't change to manage the new Compaq. A different CEO and CFO with different talents are needed for Compaq to continue it's progress.
