Yes different UTs.

I was concerned about power too, but is that directly proportional to bandwidth?

We were always talking about the longevity of the G* satellites for the higher data rates required in the future. G* UTs will be half the size with 4 times the power output, in about 3 three years, given the current rate of development of Q! and others. That should make very reasonable data rates available (38.4K) mobile and as much as you want for stationary.

Of course people who don't need the bigger data rates can then maybe buy the cheaper and smaller Voice/9600 only mobile UT.
