(GENROCO) (OTC BB: GRCI - news) of Slinger, Wisconsin, announced today that the Company's Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) and Gigabyte System Network (GSN) products will be shown by a number of Fortune 500 and other firms with significant presence in the Broadcasting industry at the 1999 National Association of Broadcasters Show (NAB99) in Las Vegas April 19 to 22.

GENROCO® TURBOfibre® PCI DVB interfaces will be employed showing low-cost MPEG video transport stream multiplexing for interactive digital television demonstrations. Oracle, Compaq, Sun, and Lysis will exhibit broadcast applications utilizing Oracle® Video Server software and GENROCO DVB ASI controller cards. Scientific-Atlanta, Mindport/OpenTV, Concurrent and others will show proprietary digital video solutions using GENROCO interfacing. This genre of systems will soon provide the infrastructure for allowing consumers to use their TV sets for web browsing, IP telephony, and other internet applications. GENROCO DVB controllers have been shipping in quantity since 1995 and are the highest performance, lowest cost per video stream products on the market today.
Tektronix, Drake Automation, and Louth Automation will show network video archiving using GENROCO PCI Fibre Channel (FC) networking. Many of the video server exhibitors have also chosen GENROCO FC storage subsystems capable of delivering data at up to 100 megabytes per second.
GENROCO will be displaying its new TURBOstor GSN - Fibre Channel disk array for Storage Area Networks (SAN) with the Fibre Channel Loop Community (Booth no. 2150). Capable of attaching to many terabytes of data and transferring information at over 700 megabytes per second, this offering can connect to GSN switches, bridging routers, and hosts to form the backbone of next generation HDTV, satellite image processing, and other high performance networks.
