<OT> Mohan, Thanks very much for the URL. What worries me is the continued political instability with the Parliament split between 25 or so parties with none having a clear majority; resulting in short-lived coalition governments. Also, the heavy industries production is not as superb as it was in the mid 90's, though it is still respectable. The information and services industries are making up only a little bit of the slack, at least for now. Finally, there is the possibility of a renewed arms race. Given all that, I must say that the 90's have been a fabulous decade for India! -BGR.
