Cadence Design Systems Inc. (CDN) 20 13/16 -3/16: supplier of software products, consulting services, and design services posts a Q1 operating net of $0.31 a share, a penny better than the First Call mean, vs year-ago nil; revenue increased 13% to $305 mln; however, company expects revenue and earnings growth to be slower for the remainder of 1999; see press release
