Microsoft platform revenue for the quarter up from $1626 to $2053 year over year, for about a 26.2% increase. Some of this is due to migration from Windows 98 to the higher priced NT 4.0, which tends to require a more fully featured (higher priced) PC and adoption of NT for running SQL Server(TM) 7.0 on even higher priced servers.

"brightest spots were the continued migration to Windows NT(R) Workstation, ... strength of our server applications"

"licences of SQL Server increased more than 50 percent over the comparable quarter of the prior year"

Doesn't sound like this is driven by eMachines to me.
