Hi again, We went through a formal meeting where the directors Dan Baxter Bill Dunbar Charles Hotzel Frank King Dr. Bob Schulz Hatim Zaghloul were elected; KPMG were appointed as the auditors and the Shareholder Rights Plan was adopted. The formal meeting was followed by a presentation on Wi-LAN whereby I gave that our business activities are: Securing high speed wireless Internet and wireless local loop contracts Licensing our technologies Strategic partnerships in affiliated companies such as the 1.8MM shares in Cell-Loc Inc. (ASE:CLQ) and the 9% ownership in Wireless Inc. (private - Bellmont, CA). I then explained that we have a market leadership in the high speed public Internet access networks. We believe that we are the only company with National contracts in European and North American countries. I explained that with the pending 30Mbps W-OFDM launch this market leadership will be supported by a product leadership as well. I finally explained that we are working hard on licensing our W-OFDM and MC-DSSS patents and are optimistic that this will be done in 1999. I had a number of questions. One shareholder asked about our financial situation. I answered that as is the case with most companies, we have assumptions in our cash flow forecasts. They do not need all to work. With these assumptions, we will not need to raise any additional capital to execute our business plan. Another question was as to what our strategic plan is in partnering. I replied that selling means short term gains and no long term gains. Partnering means possibly much larger gains in the long term but a higher degree of risk. There was a good mood all around.
