Michael,
MSFT report showed that nearly 800 million of the 2.2 bil revenue was investment income, ...up from 190 million last quarter....not exactly a "growth" category that one looks for in a software company. If you took that down to the 190 figure, MSFT would have badly missed. MSFT has over 21 billion in cash and investments. that really helps when numbers are a little "soft". -g-
