Hagar, I am saying that NN can do, and NN's customers has been doing for some time:
FR,TDM,circuit emulation, LMDS,ADLS,IP,and now class switches function on single unify platform based on 36170 switch using the same manager(software etc).
Each application has its card.
Others need two or more platforms, based on two or more switches and can not performed so effectively certain applications like FR( check out how ASND is underperforming against its promise at Bell Atlantic)
or can not at all perform others like LMDS or class switch functions.
Small alternative carrier do not need always all applications,but big carriers, where most opportunites exist, needs most of them.
You will see much more ravenue at NN from "new" carriers too.
