Level 3 Communications Commences Exchange Offer for Outstanding Senior Discount Note Offering
No Additional Proceeds to Be Raised by Exchange Offer
April 20, 1999 06:30 PM OMAHA, Neb., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Level 3 Communications, Inc. LVLT today announced that it has commenced its offer to exchange all of its currently outstanding 10 1/2% Senior Discount Notes due 2008 that were privately placed in December 1998 with a new issue of 10 1/2% Senior Discount Notes due 2008 that has been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The exchange offer will expire on May 20, 1999 at 5 p.m. EDT unless extended by the company. No additional proceeds will be raised in connection with the exchange offer.
