"the reason the networking stocks, and a lot of others, went down today is because Greenspan wants the market lower"

This may be part of the reason, but do ya think that COMS growth slowing and CSCO stating that european sales will slow and that backlogs are higher and that CSCC growth slowed last qtr has anything to do with it. When you have these issues extended with higher PE's they will take a hit when this news is released.
