EXCERPTS from the statement made by brigadier
general Vladimir Lazarevic, commander of the Pristina
Corps

Pristina Corps Units are completing their assignment and keeping under control the province of Kosovo
and Metohija. In the past days the NATO criminal aggression accomplished only one thing –
unprecedented crimes against humanity against all the peoples living in Yugoslavia.
In the past 23 days of continued aggression, NATO criminals had to abandon their original Blitzkrieg
plan, and initiated the third phase of aggression. After the attacks on all military and industrial plants and
objectives, they have started destroying civilian facilities: schools, hospitals, commercial and industrial
sites, and even monasteries; this is what is referred to as an operation for the isolation of the battlefield
aimed at destroying all that moves, civilian convoys above all.
Five or six days ago and ahead of schedule, NATO practically entered the third phase of aggression on
our country. It started with the air-ground battle in the Pristina Corps zone. Along a front some 15-20
kilometers long, a ground aggression has been launched from Albania. It has been set up by NATO and
involves several thousand terrorists rounded up from Western Europe, Macedonia, Albania, and the
Albanian Army units, preceded by a relentless air preparation of the attack along the entire front with
Albania. The Pristina Corps units are still carrying out all assignments, protecting their combat potentials
from NATO air-strikes, defending the integrity of FR Yugoslavia and maintaining full military control of the
entire Kosmet, brigadier general Vladimir Lazarevic said.

destroyed “Kosovski junaci”army barracks.
