Deferred$400Mil is for office2000 rebate. Using sales of stock to compensate this rebate in order to cook the book just showed that the MSFT does have problem to keep growing. MSFT deferred $400Mil rev. but have $720Millions of investment income. Remember it is not $400 Millions of investment income. Do your math and you will know that MSFT is cooking the book this Q.
