Tom, I have no further info on x2 other than that already posted. Will share more as I see it. I have the upgradeable Sportster but have not recieved instructions from USRX for how to get the software update, so I have no personal experience to share yet, either. What I saw in the AOL info area indicated EXTERNAL x2 is the only modem type in trial, so far. However, this was only day one of the trials that are open to all AOL membership. Brian
