bobby, from tonight's Worden report: by Worden Brothers . . . TIPS & HINTS (Tuesday, April 20, 1999, 4:00 P.M., ET) We just heard somebody on the TV report that YHOO "zoomed" up seven points. Look at the chart. Did it "zoom" up today? A better description would be something like, "After being left for dead, it painfully struggled to its knees." It's obvious that anybody who regards today's action as a vigorous bounce-back by the tech stocks has never personally thrown a dead cat off the top of a 21-story building. As the legend goes, this is the way the "dead-cat bounce" was invented, although some claim the building was taller.
