I hate it when co's change ticker cause it makes it more difficult to get info on them (kinda like changing your address and phone number). Anyway I thought North Face was going to go private. 17 bucks a share I thought was the deal. Is it possible that their channel stuffing is creating some returns of unsold merchandise? Perhaps of seasonal stuff, which if it doesn't move your stuck with for a year or have to sell it for a dime on the dollar. We know they have had trouble with living up to their expectations and the increase in A/R balance is due to distributers taking on more that they can sell. Problem is that certian industries do very poorly with slow inventory, specifically industries where change or shelf life are factors (food, PC's and apparel).
